Apprenticeships and Internships: What’s Next?

One of the big challenges with apprenticeships and internships is identifying the right candidates and creating an environment where they can truly learn new skills that are the foundation for a career. Those who have launched successful apprenticeship and internship programs discuss their best practices, the skill sets they teach, and much more. The discussion will focus on identifying current gaps in the industry where new talent is needed, how to effectively launch a program, and ways different programs can work together to enhance the experience and increase career opportunities.

Developing the Freelancer Community

Everyone is well aware of the freelancer shortage that has developed since the beginning of the pandemic. It’s not only about freelancers leaving because of career changes but also their inability to find new job opportunities beyond their current skill set. Topics will include steps the industry can take to make a career more attractive, how manufacturers can help with training for new positions, and how to build stronger bonds between freelancers, crewers, and employers.
