Jon Slobotkin was named the SVP of Content and Live Programming for the NBC Sports Regional Networks in February 2017. In this role he is responsible for all multi-platform programming and live content across NBC Sports Regional Networks. He is charged with the creation and oversight of content strategy and execution quality for programming on all platforms across the group.
Prior to his current role, Slobotkin served as VP and executive producer of live events, where he oversaw all aspects of live event coverage for the NBC Regional Sports Networks. He also served as a producer for women’s basketball at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Previously, Slobotkin served as a producer at Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, primarily covering the Philadelphia Phillies. Before SportsNet Philadelphia, Slobotkin worked as a producer for 15 years at PRISM TV.
