Roger Charlesworth is an independent consultant on media production technology. His primary focus concerns the integration of mainstream information technology and the challenges of change management in re-engineering traditional television production workflows. As an industry expert on multi-channel audio production for television, Charlesworth also serves as executive director of the DTV Audio Group. Concerned with promoting best practices for production and distribution of audio for digital television and related media, the DTVAG brings together network operational and engineering management and staff alongside key vendors and manufacturers to facilitate practical application of existing and emerging television audio standards for loudness management, personalization, accessibility, and advanced surround.
